Like my previous released music for computer generated sine waves, One piece of the wheel, this piece makes use of an Euler genera-derived scale and a mathematical structure - in this case, the actions of the quaternion group on the vertices of a cube (which results in a set of permutations which would be impossible in three dimensions). While One piece of the wheel consists of a set of sine waves with changing frequencies in fixed positions in the stereo field, Theory of mind consists of fixed frequency waves with changing stereo field positions. Like One piece of the wheel, Theory of mind is capable of producing otoacoustic emissions (aka other "third ear" phenomena) depending on playback volume, speaker position, etc.
